Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Vehicle Technician Trainer 
 
As a Vehicle Technician Trainer, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary. You’ll join a team of talented training professionals who deliver Military Apprentice courses to students. You’ll deliver technical training in line with the curriculum; deliver training on vehicle maintenance, completing and marking of all course work, assessments and ensuring all documents are correctly recorded, along with maintaining a safe working environment.

Day-to-day the Vehicle Technician Trainer will:
  

• Prepare and deliver instruction on course modules in the Initial Trade Training Department in support of the DCTT, including lesson plans, training aids, workbooks and trainee handouts
• Setting and marking of course and homework
• Carry out assessment of trainees, to include creation of written examinations, creation of practical assessments
• Marking of exam papers, and invigilation of examinations and assessments
• Maintain a Continuous Personal Development (CPD) portfolio in respect of new technologies and equipment, ensuring lesson plans and training sessions are developed in accordance with the approved Learner Specifications, course specifications and course training plans
• Review course material and content ensuring it is current and evolves to support equipment and technology advances, using the most appropriate training aids

Essential experience of the Vehicle Technician Trainer:

• Vehicle Technician background
• Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to motivate and encourage others with empathy and patience
• Knowledge of a military environment and equipment (desirable)

Company will cover all training costs, including supporting obtaining your Level 4 Teaching certificate within the first 6 months of employment.
 
Starting Salary  £34,800  plus benefits

The roles are full-time site based in Lyneham.
