Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor responsible for the cost-effective operations of all Warehouse & Logistics functions in line with company and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities: 

• Monitor and action to ensure the safe custody, maintenance, security and accountability for all
• Monitor, manage and resolve Goods-In queries within agreed time cycles.
• Manage all systems and databases used within warehousing & Logistics to ensure data integrity.
• Utilise KPI’s to monitor and improve warehouse operations.
• Carry any additional tasks set by Logistics Operational Manager as requested.
• Identify coach and develop all Logisticians in modern flexible working practices.
• Target, evaluate and report on key deliverables set by Logistics Manager.
• Involve & record all direct reports in H&S initiatives including review of all risk assessments
• Target zero accidents within all warehousing & Logistics functions.
• Carry any additional tasks set by Logistics Operational Manager as requested.

Qualifications/ Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of Warehousing & Logistics processes required.
• NC/SVQ level 2 in Warehousing Operations or equivalent
• A supervisory qualification would be an advantage
• Working knowledge of IFS
• IOSH or equivalent H&S certificate
