A specialist manufacturing business operating within the rare earth magnet recycling and production sector is looking to appoint an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing facility in Birmingham.
 
This is a hands on maintenance role focused on supporting the reliability and performance of production machinery and specialist equipment, including planned and reactive maintenance, electrical fault finding, breakdown repairs and supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
 
The role will involve:
– Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across production machinery
– Diagnosing electrical faults on motors, drives, sensors and control systems
– Supporting equipment repairs and breakdown resolution
– Assisting with machinery installations and commissioning
– Supporting equipment improvements and maintenance activities
 
Candidates should have:
– A relevant electrical qualification or apprenticeship
– Practical electrical fault finding skills
– A hands on approach to maintenance and troubleshooting
 
Previous manufacturing maintenance and PLC experience would be beneficial, although junior candidates with relevant technical experience will also be considered.
 
This is a permanent position based fully onsite at the manufacturing facility in Birmingham.
 
Working hours:
– Monday to Friday
– 9am to 5:30pm
 
Salary is £30,000 per annum.
