Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Glenrothes | £46,000 to £50,000 | Permanent | Days Only | Flexible Hours
 
A manufacturing business is looking to appoint an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its three person maintenance team at its production facility in Glenrothes.
 
This is a hands on, electrically focused maintenance position, taking the lead on the electrical side of planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and site equipment.
 
The role will involve:
– Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
– Electrical fault finding and breakdown support
– Electrical installations across production and site equipment
– Working with PLC controlled machinery and control systems
– Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
– Supporting automation and continuous improvement projects
– Installation and commissioning support for new equipment
– Working alongside the wider maintenance team to maximise equipment reliability
 
Candidates should be qualified, time served Electrical Engineers with solid maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing or production environment.
 
Strong electrical fault finding skills are important, alongside experience with PLCs, control systems and electrical drawings. Practical mechanical maintenance experience would also be beneficial.
 
This is a permanent, days only position with no shift pattern and flexibility around working hours:
 
– 7am to 3pm
– 8am to 4pm
– 9am to 5pm
– A mixture of these hours can also be accommodated where required
 
Salary is £46,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
