Techniche Global is supporting a leading electrical engineering business with the recruitment of a Field Industrial Electrician.

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire (Field-Based – Yorkshire Region)
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
Type: Permanent, Full-Time Position

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team carrying out installation and maintenance work across industrial customer sites throughout the Yorkshire region. Training and development will be provided, including progression to High Voltage (HV) systems for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment at customer sites.
• Work on transformers, switchgear and associated electrical systems.
• Support planned maintenance and fault-finding activities.
• Prepare equipment and materials from the Sheffield regional depot before site visits.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards.
• Complete service reports and relevant documentation.
• Build positive relationships with customers while delivering a high standard of service.

We’re Looking For

• Experience working with LV, MV or HV electrical systems.
• Industrial electrical installation and maintenance experience.
• A strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and standards.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel across the Yorkshire region and undertake occasional overnight stays.
