Techniche Global is supporting a leading Transport Systems Technology business with the recruitment of a Trainee Technical Support Technician.

Location: Winchester, Hampshire
Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 (depending on experience)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time Position

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their technical career to join an experienced Technical Support team, receive full training, and develop into a Technical Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to customers, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Learn to troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking problems.
• Support product testing, fault diagnosis, and equipment repairs.
• Work closely with Engineering and Development teams to resolve technical issues.
• Deliver excellent customer service while managing support enquiries.
• Develop technical knowledge through structured training and hands-on experience.
• Maintain accurate support records and documentation.

We’re Looking For

• A genuine interest in IT, technology, or electronics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
• A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
• Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, customer service, or a technical environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
