Senior SCADA Engineer – Edinburgh, Buckie or Fraserburgh – £60,000-£70,000 + bonus + benefits – Permanent – Hybrid
 
A renewable energy business is looking to appoint a Senior SCADA Engineer to support offshore wind and wider renewable energy assets across Scotland.
 
This role focuses on supporting and developing SCADA, control systems, and communications infrastructure across operational renewable energy assets.
 
The position will involve:

• SCADA and network support
• Systems integration and commissioning support
• Cyber security activities
• Defect resolution and asset integrity support
• Supporting operational wind farm infrastructure

 
Candidates should have strong experience within SCADA and control systems environments, alongside knowledge of:

• Network topologies
• Virtualised server environments
• Communications infrastructure
• Industrial IT systems
• MS SQL databases
• PLC systems
• VMware / Hyper-V
• Cyber security

 
Previous experience within renewable energy, utilities, industrial infrastructure, or similar operational engineering environments would be highly beneficial.
 
This is a permanent hybrid role, with office locations available in Edinburgh, Buckie, or Fraserburgh. The working pattern is typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
