Techniche Global are supporting a specialist manufacturing site in Milnthorpe with the appointment of an Electrical (EC&I) Technician to join their growing engineering team.

A hands-on role working across maintenance, fault-finding, automation systems and improvement projects.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out electrical, control & instrumentation maintenance and diagnostics to minimise downtime

• Fault-find on motors, drives, PLC-supported systems and MCC equipment
• Respond to plant issues, isolations and safety-critical tasks
• Support upgrades, installations and automation projects
• Update schematics (AutoCAD) and liaise with contractors/suppliers

What You’ll Need

• Recognised Electrical or Instrumentation qualification (NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC or above)
• Industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong fault-finding skills with PLCs, drives or control systems
• Confident working both independently and within a team
