Techniche Global are supporting a specialist die casting company to appoint a Tooling Engineer who possess a strong background in tooling maintenance and repair, with expertise in die casting tooling.
  
Salary:                   £29-32k per annum + benefits
Location:              Walsall- 100% onsite
Duration:             Full-time, Permanent
  
Duties:

• Tooling maintenance and repair.
• Tooling changeovers.
• Problem solving and continuous improvement.

  
Desired Experience:

• Proven experience in a tooling role or similar position within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and tool room machinery.
• Familiarity with grinding processes and techniques related to tool maintenance and optimisation.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks, is advantageous but not essential for this role.
• A solid understanding of die casting processes in zinc and aluminium is preferred.
