Manufacturing Engineer
Filton, Bristol (on-site at customer facility)
Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
£37,000-£39,000 per annum (flexible depending on experience)

We’re supporting a global engineering services provider in appointing a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team permanently, working on-site at a major aerospace manufacturing facility in Filton.
 
About the Role
You’ll be embedded within a small, specialised engineering support team, providing technical guidance to the production and machining teams. The focus is on manufacturing process improvement—not hands-on machining.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Analyse CNC machining processes to identify opportunities for cost, time, and quality improvements
• Support tooling selection, workholding, and process design
• Collaborate with on-site production teams to implement enhancements
• Provide technical advice on manufacturing methods and continuous improvement initiatives

 
What We’re Looking For

• Background in Manufacturing Engineering or CNC machining
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, marine, or another high-precision manufacturing environment
• Comfortable operating in an advisory, engineering-led role rather than hands-on production
• Strong understanding of CNC processes and process optimisation

This could suit a mid-level Manufacturing Engineer, or a skilled CNC Machinist or Programmer looking to transition into a more technical, process-focused role.
