Techniche Global are supporting a specialist print production manufacturer in Dagenham with the appointment of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias) to join their on-site engineering team.

This role focuses heavily on mechanical maintenance, repairs and fault-finding across high-speed printing and finishing machinery, while still requiring good electrical awareness.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver PPM and mechanical maintenance across production machinery
• Diagnose and repair faults on print/finishing equipment (motors, belts, pulleys, bearings, shafts, sensors, rollers etc.)
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to keep production uptime high
• Support machine improvements, upgrades and reliability engineering
• Manage spare parts, liaise with contractors/suppliers and maintain accurate maintenance logs
• Ensure safe working practices and adherence to HSE standards

What You’ll Need

• Strong mechanical engineering background with multi-skilled capability
• Mechanical qualifications (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC, City & Guilds or similar)
• Confident mechanical fault-finding & strip/repair skills in a fast-paced environment
• Basic electrical understanding (advantageous)
• Print industry or high-speed production experience is a plus, not essential
