We are working with a medical equipment manufacturer in Littlehampton, West Sussex, as they seek a Mould Tool Setter for their Mouldshop area.
 
As a specialist in injection moulding and cleanroom assembly, They are a renowned manufacturer of single use medical devices. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a class 8 cleanroom environment, using state-of-the-art machinery and contributing to the manufacture of high-quality medical components.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out mould tool installations, start-ups, shutdowns, and material batch and colour changes.
• Set machines to approved validated settings and ensure optimal performance of tooling and ancillary equipment.
• Work closely with the MouldShop / Production Manager to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and explore automation opportunities.

 
They are seeking experience with setting and operating machinery and an understanding of injection mould tooling, ideally with experience in insert changes.
 
The role is permanent, offer a salary of circa £35,000, flexible dependant on experience. This is on a day shift  (8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am – 1:30 Friday, total 39.5 hours per week) on site role 5 days/week.
