We are working with a specialist British manufacturer of ultra-luxury bespoke furniture for superyachts and high-end residential projects. Based in Fareham, Hampshire, they operate from multiple sites including a new 30,000 sq ft centre of excellence, delivering high-quality cabinetry, upholstery, and custom finishes.
 
We’re currently assisting them in hiring for several full-time, permanent roles, outlined below:
 

• Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner Responsible for building bespoke furniture and fitted joinery using a range of luxury materials and components. Candidates must have experience working from technical drawings in a high-end furniture or cabinetry environment, with strong attention to detail.
• Sprayer Finisher Involves the preparation and finishing of custom furniture and joinery using a variety of lacquers, stains, and specialist finishes. Applicants should have experience in furniture spraying or finishing, preferably in a bespoke or high-end setting.
• Upholsterer Hands-on role covering the full upholstery process, including cutting, foam work, stapling, and finishing. Applicants should have previous experience in high-quality upholstered furniture and be confident working with a variety of materials including leather, vinyl, and textiles.

 
All roles offer a salary in the region of £17 per hour (circa £35,000 per annum), depending on experience. The company operates a Monday to Friday 40hpw schedule with start times Mon – Thu 7:00 – 4:00 or 7:30 – 4:30 and Friday 7:30 – 1:30 and offers a range of benefits including 28 days’ holiday (plus additional service-based accrual), enhanced pension, employee assistance programme, and free on-site parking.
