Electronics Support Engineer – Grid Solutions
Location: Stafford (On-site)
Rate: £18.19 – £20.79 per hour (£35,000 – £40,000 per annum equivalent) 
Type: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (07:30 – 16:00, 37 hours per week)
Initial 6 month contract 

We are working with a global energy technology company, based in Stafford to recruit an Electronics Support Engineer to join their Electronics Technical Support team.

This team supports both current and legacy products, working closely with hardware, software and applications engineers to investigate issues, resolve faults, and support continuous improvement within the production and test environment.

The Role As an Electronics Support Engineer, you will:

• Support manufacturing investigations and root cause analysis on production products
• Work closely with R&D hardware engineers and cross-functional teams
• Lead fault finding and investigation of PCB assembly issues
• Support new product introduction (NPI) builds and test improvements
• Monitor failure trends and drive corrective actions
• Manage engineering actions using JIRA and internal engineering tools

What We’re Looking For

• HND in Electronics (or equivalent)
• Background in Electronics Engineering or similar technical discipline
• Understanding of electronic circuits, PCB assemblies and component-level fault finding
• Experience investigating technical issues within manufacturing or test environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams
