Techniche Global is supporting a leading renewable energy organisation in appointing a Site Planner to join a major offshore wind project based in Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest offshore wind developments, supporting critical marshalling harbour and load-out operations. Working as part of the project planning team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring site schedules, ensuring construction and logistics activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and on programme.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in project planning within engineering, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, or industrial environments, alongside advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, which is essential for this role. You will work closely with project management, site operations, subcontractors, and other planning teams to coordinate activities, monitor progress, identify risks, and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed site schedules using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate and integrate subcontractor programmes into the master schedule.
• Manage daily and weekly planning activities for marshalling harbour operations.
• Produce look-ahead schedules, progress reports, KPI dashboards, and schedule analysis.
• Monitor critical paths, identify delays, and develop recovery plans where required.
• Support project leadership with schedule reporting, risk mitigation, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with site execution teams to ensure planning reflects actual site progress.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Site Planner or Project Planner position.
• Advanced Primavera P6 planning experience.
• Background within engineering, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to produce schedule reports, KPIs, and planning analysis.
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred.

Package:

• £459 per day Umbrella Inside IR35
• Monday to Friday, 10-hour days
• Potential for 1 day per week home working
