Panel Wireman – Norwich – £35,000-£45,000 + Overtime – Permanent – Site Based
 
A growing engineering business within the power and energy sector is looking to appoint a Panel Wireman to join its team in Norwich.
 
This role focuses on wiring and assembling electrical control panels for a range of industrial and infrastructure projects.
 
You will be working from schematic and layout drawings, carrying out panel wiring, component mounting, trunking, and DIN rail installation, while also supporting inspection and testing activities prior to dispatch.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Wiring electrical control panels from schematic drawings
• Component mounting and panel assembly
• Trunking and DIN rail installation
• Supporting inspection and testing activities
• Working closely with engineering and production teams
• Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail

 
Candidates should have:

• Previous experience within panel wiring or electrical assembly
• Experience working within electrical manufacturing environments
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach

 
Previous experience within industrial, utilities, power, or infrastructure sectors would be beneficial.
This is a permanent, site-based role in Norwich, working:

• Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm
• Friday: Earlier finish depending on workload

 
Salary is in the region of £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience, with overtime also available.
