STORES / DESPATCH OPERATIVE
Location: Stafford
Salary: £13.94 per hour + Overtime + Benefits
Contract: Long-Term Contract Assignments

We are supporting a manufacturing facility in Stafford with the appointment of a Stores / Despatch Operative to join their logistics and goods-out operation.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing business on a long-term contract basis within a busy warehouse, stores and dispatch environment.

The Role: As a Stores / Despatch Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Stores & Inventory Support – Assisting with the handling, storage and movement of stock within the manufacturing facility.
• Packing & Despatch – Preparing and packing products accurately for dispatch to ensure on-time delivery.
• Goods-Out Operations – Supporting logistics and despatch activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Stock Control – Assisting with inventory management and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Material Handling – Safely moving materials and components throughout the facility.
• Team Collaboration – Working closely with warehouse, logistics and production teams to support operational requirements.
• Health & Safety – Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and operational compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience within Stores, Inventory, Warehouse or Despatch operations.
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be advantageous.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Reliable and proactive approach to work.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
