Manufacturing Readiness Engineer 
Location: Rugby, England
Rate: £38-£40p/hr PAYE + holiday + pension
Long term contract 

We are supporting a global engineering organisation in their search for a Lead Manufacturing Readiness Engineer.

This role sits within a specialist Manufacturing Readiness team, driving Lean improvements, capital projects, and manufacturing efficiency across complex engineering programmes.

The Role:

• Lead Capex projects from concept through to installation and handover
• Drive Lean/Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce cost
• Plan and coordinate manufacturing readiness activities
• Optimise workflows, layouts, and processes
• Present business cases to senior stakeholders
• Mentor engineers and support team development
• Collaborate across global engineering and operations teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong background in manufacturing engineering & Lean methodologies
• Experience leading process improvement and investment projects
• CAD skills (preferably Creo)
• Excellent organisation, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
