Oracle APEX Developer – Contract
Hybrid | 2 days/week on-site in Bristol, Leicester or Plymouth
£475-£525/day (Umbrella, DOE)
6-month initial contract | SC Cleared preferred
 
We’re working with a leading defence sector organisation to appoint an experienced Oracle APEX Developer for a 6-month contract, supporting key programmes related to through-life engineering support for the UK Naval and Submarine fleet.
 
About the Role
Joining the Digital Solutions Team, you’ll play a central role in the analysis, design, development, and delivery of secure web-based applications using the Oracle APEX platform.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and development of solutions within Oracle APEX
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, PMs, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to understand and translate business needs
• Support the production of technical documentation and participate in code reviews
• Contribute to a collaborative and agile working environment within a high-profile programme

 
What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in Oracle APEX development, ideally within secure or regulated environments
• Strong understanding of the Oracle APEX toolset and best practices
• Ability to interpret and analyse business requirements into scalable, technical solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Current SC Clearance is strongly preferred; candidates with recently lapsed clearance may be considered

 
The Offer

• £475-£525/day (Umbrella, depending on experience)
• Initial 6-month contract with extension potential
• Hybrid working model – 2 days per week on-site (Bristol, Leicester, or Plymouth)
