£42,000-£48,000 + company vehicle + expenses + weekend overtime
We’re working with an innovative engineering company developing green water treatment technology to recruit a Field Service & Installation Engineer (Electrical) on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing clean-tech business at the forefront of sustainable water solutions.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and servicing of on-site water treatment systems used across the dairy, beverage, and industrial manufacturing sectors. This is a hands-on role involving:
- Electrical installations, panel wiring, and system commissioning
- Working with pumps, plumbing, wiring, and basic PLC/relay logic
- Supporting system testing, stock management, and final assembly at the Exeter facility
- Regular travel to customer sites across the UK (approx. 3 days per week)
- Occasional international travel may be required
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong electrical installation or panel wiring background
- Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and technical schematics
- Experience working with fluid-handling systems (pumps, valves, etc.) desirable
- Previous work in water, food, beverage or manufacturing sectors is a bonus
- Full UK driving licence is essential
This role would suit someone with a service, commissioning, or maintenance background who enjoys varied, field-based work and has a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Package:
- £42,000-£48,000 salary depending on experience
- Company vehicle for site work
- Travel expenses covered
- £300/day weekend overtime (as required)
- Standard hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
- Typically 3 days per week on customer sites and 2 days at Exeter facility
