Techniche Global are supporting leading electronics manufacturer in Andover, Hampshire to appoint a Production Engineer and a Manufacturing Engineer to join their PCBA and MicroElectronics Teams.

As Production Engineer you will have a hands on role working closely with the shop floor but should have a keen and thorough understanding of principles such as ‘design for manufacture’ and be able to interpret CAD drawings, customer data and requirements.  50% of the role is shop floor based, building products and looking at the build process, supporting production team with building/production of products. The other 50% is desk based looking at all the theoretical side (drawings/diagrams, documents/paperwork, CAD, data analysis, customer data and requirements).
  
We can consider backgrounds across various industries including automotive, aerospace, medical devices and other manufacturing sectors. A background with a Electronics Manufacturer is highly sought after but not essential.
  
For the Manufacturing Engineer there is a strong preference for a manufacturing background in the field of electronics manufacture. This role will be working on manufacturing process improvements within their Microelectronics team at their production facility in Andover.

Salaries range from £40-45,000 depending on experience and their office hours are Monday-Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 Friday 08:30 – 15:30.
