Senior Architectural Technician – Hybrid

Techniche Global
Techniche Global has a new opportunity for a Civil, Structural and Architectural (CS&A) Technician with the UK’s leading supplier to the nuclear industry and a growing global force.
This is an initial 12 month contract assignment with strong likelihood to extend and will be based at their Birchwood office in Warrington 3 days/week on a hybrid full time basis.
The role is paying up to £50/hour (Umbrella Inside IR35)
The projects you will undertake will principally be in relation to the design and detail of buildings and spatial layout associated with state-of-the-art mechanical handling equipment and associated process and electrical systems, but can also involve stand-alone architectural tasks for a range of sectors. There may be requirements to visit sites for architectural inspections and surveys, and will be undertaken primarily for sites across UK
You’ll be involved in preparation of designs for buildings of varying complexity, including production of relevant models and drawings using Autodesk products, particularly Revit and AutoCAD, throughout the various stages of the design process. Navisworks is another tool used by the team and experience with BIM to integrate design data will be advantageous.
Due to the nature of projects being in the nuclear industry, you will require basic security clearance prior to start and able to obtain SC clearance.
