Techniche Global are seeking a number of Slingers for immediate starts at HMNB Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, PL1 4SG.
  
There is a long term scope of work on their warships and submarine programmes, supporting delivering these complex engineering projects.
  
You will need to be competent in the general use of lifting equipment and tools related to the role, such as the use of fixed gantry (overhead traveller) cranes, spreader bars, plate clamps and chain blocks.
  
Contracts will be offered on an initial 12 month and ongoing basis.
  
Due to the nature of the work and the site being a British Naval Base, we are only able to consider UK/British Passport Holders for this project.
  
Pay Rate: £24.69 per hour Umbrella
PAYE is also available at £19.45/hour plus holiday (if opting out of holiday pay is £21.80)
  
Non-locals will also receive £5/hour for travel and accommodation allowance (£4/hour between 36-80 miles)
  
Overtime (above 35 hours per week) is readily available and paid at flat rate. Standards 07:30 – 15:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 12:30 on a Friday with potential for shift work and overtime.
