Techniche Global is working with a leading LED signage specialist in the Intelligent Transport Systems sector. We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team in Redhill.

Senior Engineer – Signs & Signals
Location: Redhill, Surrey (with UK travel)
Type: Permanent
Salary: up to 48,000- £52,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Commission and fault-find LED signage systems.
• Manage workshop operations and support LED Technicians.
• Visit client sites for installs, maintenance, and training.
• Work closely with the Technical Director on NPD and key projects.
• Provide technical support and documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and support internal sales teams.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• CSCS, IPAF, PASMA (Desirable) 

Required Technical Skills

Essential:

• Hands-on experience with electrical and electronic products and systems.
• Knowledge of data communication protocols.
• Experience with software installations on Windows OS.
• Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits, voltages, and currents.

Desirable:

• Experience with LED components.
• IT networking knowledge (TCP/IP, UDP).
• Familiarity with RS232, RS485, RS422 protocols.
• Basic media editing software skills.
• Server setup for cloud-based systems.
• DNS and port forwarding knowledge.
• AV equipment commissioning experience.
• Mechanical installation know-how for indoor/outdoor environments.
