We are working with specialists in industrial automation technology and robotics based in Rotherham. They provide Industrial Automation & Robotics systems for the manufacturing sector, including aerospace, automotive, and renewable energy. We are assisting them in appointing an experienced Control Systems Commissioning Engineer.
 
This role is based out of brand new state of the art facility in Rotherham (S60 5GP). The role will be a mix of testing and commissioning activities at their Rotherham site, then on site commissioning across the UK and Europe. The mix will depend on projects and will likely be longer periods in each location, rather than regular travel each week.
 
The business provide hire vehicles and arrange all travel for customer site visits and commissioning periods. There is overtime paid at x1.5 for anything over 39 hours per week. Additionally travel is paid plus a subsistence allowance whilst away.
 
For this role the business will consider any background in PLCs; fault finding/commissioning/testing (Beckhoff, Siemens, Rockwell etc), Industrial hardware and networking (EtherCAT, ProfiNET, CANopen, RS232, DeviceNet etc). Along with good site and commissioning/installation and testing experience. 
 
The role is paying a base salary of up to £48,000 per annum. Plus the overtime paid at 1.5x.
