Techniche Global are supporting a global technology leader in the in the Defence sector, to appoint a Senior Software Assurance Consultant to work in their Air sector, covering whole system, software assurance on Military Jets.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Populating software safety arguments under a goal structure establishing that a baseline exits for the software under review
• Establishing that the software is targeted to be developed to a known software standard
• Establishing that process has been followed and the software development and verification process is established and meeting the correct standards
• Evaluating any changes down to the source code level which is written in SPARK Ada and the reviewing of the associated Spark Analysis
• Providing assessment in a format suitable to the project and interface with systems and safety subject matter experts

Essential experience of the Senior Software Assurance Consultant: 

• Strong knowledge of aircraft software development and of the recognised software development standards
• Extensive experience of Safety Critical Software development and safety engineering concepts
• Experience working as a Software Technical Assessor or extensive experience working as a software engineer in a Safety Critical environment

  
These roles are Hybrid working (2/3 days per week typically), and van be based from any of these sites in the UK: Boscombe Down (Salisbury); Malvern, Farnborough, Bristol, or Lincoln.  
  
Along with a comprehensive benefits package, they are able to offer a salary in the region of £60-70,000, with further scope dependant on the individuals experience.
  
Please note, due to the nature of the Government Defence Projects this role will be working on, SC Security clearance will need to be achieved, the criteria for this is we will only be able to consider applications from Sole UK Nationals
