Production Engineer – Tooling Design & Manufacturing
 
Are you an experienced Production Engineer with a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes? We are working with a global leader in industrial pumps and motors, seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join their team in Luton and support their manufacturing operations.
 
About the Role:
In this role, you’ll focus on tooling design using SolidWorks to ensure efficient production processes, minimize waste, and deliver high-quality components. You will design and develop tooling, conduct process analysis, and oversee production efficiencies for both heavy and light machinery.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop tooling, jigs, and fittings using SolidWorks (or similar CAD software).
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
• Support production teams in optimizing the use of heavy and light machinery.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality components through effective tooling and process design.

 
What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a Production Engineer role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for tooling and jig design.
• Experience working with light and heavy production machinery.

 
What’s On Offer:

• Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

• Permanent role, fully on-site, Monday to Friday at the Luton site.
