Production Planner – Specialist Nutritional Products
 
Are you an experienced Production Planner with a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes? We are working with a European leader in the development, manufacture, and packing of specialist nutritional products and food ingredients. They are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join their growing team in Bridgwater, Somerset.
 
About the Role:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for taking ownership of production planning to ensure daily, weekly, and long-term schedules align with customer requirements. You’ll optimize production schedules, maintain material flow, and collaborate with supply chain and production teams to support business efficiency. The role also involves mitigating risks, planning contingencies, and driving improvements in production planning processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Create and optimize production schedules to meet customer needs.
• Maintain material flow and inventory levels to support production goals.
• Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Mitigate risks, plan contingencies, and support overall efficiency goals.

 
What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in materials supply planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• CILT certification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.

 
What’s On Offer:

• Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 per annum.
• Benefits: 25 days holiday, pension scheme, and a flexible work schedule (Mon–Thurs: 8:30–17:30, Fri: 8:00–13:00).
• Permanent role based in Bridgwater, Somerset.
