Helping a Growing Tech Startup Secure Top Cybersecurity Talent
For the past two years, we’ve been working alongside a cutting edge tech startup in the Operational Technology and Cyber Security sector. From sourcing their first developers, to now expanding their engineering team. We’ve helped them bring in key hires during this critical growth phase, and recently, they gave us a new challenge: finding operational technology (OT) engineers with advanced cybersecurity skills.
Cybersecurity within OT, especially for industrial automation and process control systems, is still a fairly developing and niche area. Finding people with the right mix of in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience was a challenge. Techniche have been operating in Control Systems, Automation and OT for almost 10 years, where we have developed established networks of engineers.
Using our network of experienced contacts and tapping into some new sources, we were able to find a number of profiles who met the spec. After a number of rounds of successful interviews, we’re happy to announce that we’ve secured two professional contractors. Over the next year, they’ll provide a blend of cybersecurity OT skills and services supporting our client as they continue their growth.
