Techniche is working with a market leader in turnkey packaging and process machinery solutions to the food industry, as they seek an Electrical Design Team Leader.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in designing solutions, ideally for special purpose machinery or related manufacturing applications. You will utilise this experience with previous experience of mentoring or leading other engineers and provide leadership to the Electrical Engineering team of 6 members.

Role Responsibilities include:

• Manage design projects ensuring all milestones are met
• Develop electrical designs for primary TNA products and new projects in collaboration with other departments
• Work closely with the Software Engineers to collaborate with the development of PLC and PC programs for systems or machines that require them (previous PLC/Automation experience is not essential)
• Liaise with customers and Technical Support to find solutions to electrical problems of machines and/or systems and report findings to the team.
