We are working with a global vehicle manufacturer at their Technical Research & Development facility in Cranfield just outside of Milton Keynes. Supporting them with appointing an experienced Power Supply & Harness/Loom specialist.
 
For this role, previous Automotive industry experience is not required. The key experience required is a background in Power Supply Design and the Layout of Harnesses & Wiring Looms. This could be from any industry sector such as consumer electronics, aerospace, rail, IT hardware, appliances etc. The role will be a mix of hands on design, specification and engineering work. But also spending a lot of time overseeing suppliers and coordinating with suppliers of Power Supplies for testing, validation, design and spec changes etc.
 
 
It is hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office. There are occasions where business trips to suppliers are required for testing etc.
 
The rate is up to £29 per hour depending on experience. This is an annual equivalent of £58,812. If opting out of holiday pay the rate increases to £33.35 per hour (annual equivalent of £67,633 per annum). All overtime above 39 hours is paid at multiplied rates (time and a half, and double time). Travel time for business trips is also paid
