We are working with a vehicle manufacturer, at their Technology R&D Center in Cranfield. Supporting them with appointing a Test and Validation professional on a long-term assignment.
 
For this role they will consider someone who has Automotive testing/Validation experience. Or someone who comes from another similar industry doing Systems testing, such as Aerospace, Rail or Electronics.
 
The role is working within 1 of their 2 test departments. Focusing on Connected Car testing. This is primarily testing Electrical, Electronic and Software Systems, related to user operation within Nissan passenger vehicles.
 
They require a minimum of 3-5 years testing/validation experience. Testing of systems is essential. Any knowledge or exposure to automotive systems, connected car systems or IOT connected devices would be advantageous but is not essential.
 
The role is Hybrid working, with 3 days per week at their R&D center in Cranfield. The assignment will be initially for 12 months, but expect to extend beyond. The role requires a full and valid UK drivers license (as testing the vehicle is part of the role).
 
The rate is £25.96 – £29.60 per hour + holiday + pension. (Equivalent of £52.5k – £60k per annum).
 
If opting out of holiday the rate for this role is £29.85 – £34.04 per hour (Equivalent of £60.5 – £69k per annum)
