Techniche Global are supporting a design and manufacture specialist in packaging solutions, primarily used in the Food & Beverage Sector, to appoint a Quality Professional in a Quality & Compliance Manager position.

Key responsibilities: 

• Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 and BRCGS standards.
• Prepare for and lead internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is maintained.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory changes.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformances.
• Oversee site compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead RIDDOR reporting, risk assessments, and safety improvement initiatives.
• Ensure environmental policies align with company sustainability goals.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce defects and improve quality.
• Develop and maintain an effective data recording and retention system for quality and compliance.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process efficiency.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
  
Essential:

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, BRCGS, and environmental management standards.
• Experience leading internal and external audits.
• Proven background in health & safety management (including RIDDOR compliance).
• Experience implementing quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to analyse data and drive improvements through performance metrics.
• Strong leadership, training, and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Knowledge of waste reduction and environmental impact initiatives.
• Experience in the plastics or packaging industry.
