Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint an Agile Campaigns Project Manager. You will need strong experience and a proven track record in campaign management and award through to the Agile / blended methodology delivery of successful complex projects and programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to be part of an innovative programme.

Rate:                    £600-650 UMB
Location:              Bristol- hybrid
Duration:             long term contract
Requirements:     Valid SC Clearance
  
Desired Experience:
Applicants are reviewed on a case-by-case basis but below are attributes which may benefit your application:

  • Agile Practitioner, SAFE certification or other qualifications.
  • PMQ or PPQ (desirable) or equivalent
  • It is essential that you have a proven record of Campaigns delivery from an agile perspective in addition to an understanding of waterfall methodologies.
  • Considerable experience in the advanced application of Project Management techniques in a relevant technical project environment, providing leadership and motivation.
  • Experience in setting up governance aligning to agile and waterfall methodologies, creating the road map to delivery.
  • Experience in providing advice and guidance to the Project teams on the best practice for campaign set up and mobilisation into delivery, coaching members of the team.
  • Experience delivering solutions with a diverse team of both internal resource teams and external supply chains
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of contract and commercial management. Experience of financial management.
  • Upholding of the Company’s principles and a role model in project management.
  • Knowledge of project controls tools and how these tools operate to provide key information for decision making  
  • Commercially and financially astute, with a challenging mind-set
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and with external bodies
  • Software/ applications experience preferential.

  • Relationship management – building effective working relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers where appropriate
  • Project Management expertise – especially in requirements capture, risk and financial management
  • Coaching and leadership – providing within project teams and across a matrix organisation to direct line reports.
  • Facilitation – engaging a cross section of functional representatives from stakeholder communities; you’re able to operate at all levels in and across the organisation
  • Communication- ability to identify and implement communication plans, providing effective and timely communication across the business and within the stakeholder community.
