Techniche Global are supporting leading automotive manufacturer to appoint a Telematics Project Design Engineer. 

Location: Cranfield, near Milton Keynes
Type: Hybrid (3 days from the office, 2 days from home)
Contract Type: 12-month rolling contract
Rate: £30.02-£30.78/hour PAYE Inside IR35, overtime rates at 1.5X basic rate
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage cross-functional projects across telematics and connectivity domains
• Coordinate with Tier 1 suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure timely delivery
• Deliver configuration data and support system validation activities
• Lead the implementation of on-board telematics systems for vehicles manufactured in Europe

Experience & Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of vehicle connectivity systems and telematics hardware
• Understanding of mobile network infrastructure and data transfer
• Proven ability to manage automotive projects from design to delivery
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
