SCADA PLC Engineer – Electrical & Automation Solutions
 
Are you an experienced SCADA PLC Engineer looking to work on innovative systems for diverse clients? We are working with a global leader in electrical and automation solutions, seeking a skilled SCADA PLC Engineer to join their team in Bradford. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative and flexible environment.
 
About the Role:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for interpreting client specifications, developing Functional Design Specifications, and programming PLC systems (Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000). You will design SCADA solutions, test implementations, participate in design reviews, and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
 
Occasional travel to UK and offshore sites may be required for commissioning and technical support.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Functional Design Specifications and program PLC systems (Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000).
• Design and implement SCADA solutions using platforms like InTouch and WinCC.
• Test systems, participate in design reviews, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and after-sales phases.

 
What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience in PLC programming is essential.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus and Profibus, and SCADA platforms like InTouch and WinCC, is advantageous.
• Understanding of network infrastructure, 3-phase power distribution, and power management systems is a plus.
