Techniche Secures Experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for Major UK Defence Site
Techniche have been supporting some of the most critical and challenging engineering roles within the defence sector. For the past four years, we’ve collaborated closely with a large, global defence organization, providing tailored engineering and technical expertise for their operations. Recently, we were tasked with filling a critical electro-mechanical maintenance role at a high-security UK military site; a position that had remained unfilled for nearly 18 months.
The requirements for this role were particularly demanding. Due to strict regulations at this site, only candidates with specific technical expertise and high-level security clearances were eligible. Our team approached this challenge consultatively, working closely with our client to fully understand the technical and security specifications required.
Through an exhaustive search across the candidate market, we identified a select pool of candidates who met the specification required. Following a fast-paced, two-stage interview process, we successfully appointed an experienced engineer. The new hire is set to begin in the new year, bringing an end to a long period of challenges the client has faced in not having this role appointed.
