Supporting a new client in Eastleigh, Hampshire, Techniche have placed three Lean Manufacturing Operatives into a 1 year apprenticeship program. In September, we identified an engineering and manufacturing organisation in Hampshire who specialise in the design, development, build and installation of complex HVAC equipment. The client was struggling to attract and secure three new employees for a Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship scheme they have established and was due for enrolment on a fixed date in 2 weeks time. Following an introduction we were tasked to support the selection of candidates and proposed a short list within a number of days. After 4 interviews, 3 candidates were selected and all gratefully accepted the offers to embark on a year long paid apprenticeship program.
