Techniche Global is supporting a leading provider of training, assessment and tutoring to the MOD and Royal Navy – in appointing an Functional Skills Tutor for their site in Wiltshire. 

In this role you will deliver recognised Functional Skills courses in English and Maths which forms a key component of an Apprenticeship Standard.    
  
Salary: £32,049 plus benefits.
Location: Wiltshire
Type: Permanent, 37 hours per week + hybrid working arrangements with 4 weeks in the office/onsite and then 1 week working from home.
    
Day to day, you’ll deliver recognised Functional Skills courses in English and Maths which forms a key component of an Apprenticeship Standard. Tutors are expected to be able to deliver Maths and English to mixed groups (max class size x16). 

• Conduct assessment, invigilation and marking of assignments.  
• Provide fair and constructive feedback in written and verbal form.
• Deliver remedial training and revision (during working hours) as required.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning resources and trainee supporting materials. 

Qualifications for the Functional Skills Tutor

• Proven record in delivering training face to face 
• Functional Skills Level 2 English 
• Functional Skills Level 2 Maths
