Bid Coordinator

Techniche Global are working with an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Bid Coordinator. You will support the generation of tenders, bids and proposals for both new and existing customers. The role requires a blend of bid management skills, experience of bidding processes and knowledge of regulatory frameworks across Defence. This is a permanent role, to work at their site in Bristol.
Skills:
• Strong and demonstrable understanding of bid processes
• Understanding of the procurement process and regulations
• A passion and drive for pre-sales and bid management
• Strong time management
• Excellent communication and networking – a focus on customer value
• Excellent attention to detail, an excellent grasp of English and Numeracy
• Self-motivation, resilience, ability to work under pressure and constantly juggle priorities
• Ability to work with members at all levels and seniority
• Literate in Finance and Commercial aspects of managing delivery of bids
• Knowledge of risk management
Qualifications:
- Degree Level or Equivalent in either an Engineering, Software Engineering, Business or English literature/language related discipline
- APMP (Project and/or Proposals) (Preferable)
- Design skills including Adobe Creative Suite (Preferable)
Experience:
• Previous experience in a Bid management, Business Development or Proposals Coordination role
• Experience of small, medium and large scale bids and proposals
• Defence or Engineering sector experience (preferable)
