Administrator / Document Controller

Techniche Global are working with an engineering defence contractor to appoint an Administrator/Document Controller, to be based onsite at Devonport. This role sits within the Submarines Business Unit.
The role offers a friendly and flexible working environment where no two days are the same so a positive and pro-active approach is vital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast pace environment providing Administrative and Document Control support to a project team and become part of a valued team.
As an Administrator/Document Controller you will need to be able to manage your own time and work to tight deadlines, have excellent interpersonal skills due to dealing a variety of customers. You will need to be able to problem solve and manage a demanding workload. Software experience is desirable and you will need to be a competent user of Microsoft office packages.
General duties will include but are not limited to:-
- Control and distribution of various documentation
- Check documents on the Document Management System
- Co-ordinate responses from the business for various documents
- Diary management
- Minute taking and distribution
- Maintaining stock of stationery/catering/PPE
- Producing weekly health and safety data graphs including capturing trends and any learning opportunities
- Organisation of agendas, action tracking and project documentation in support of various meetings
- Arrange access to the Site and escort visitors as and when required
- Arrange catering for various meetings
- Archiving of paper and electronic documentation
- Support the Department’s SharePoint site and manage the documents within it
Key Skills:
- Experience of managing and supervising a team
